My third release is kind of a continuation of the second one. I ask sorry for the post before be so short. I’ll explain more in this one and show some print screens, to illustrate what I’m saying.
I’m doing translation for Mozilla, using the platform called Transifex. It is a web site where you can join projects and teams, and post or suggest translation for sentences. On the picture below you can see a whole picture of how it works. I was working on appmaker’s project, translating from English to Portuguese BR. This last month I worked on the Mozilla 2014 EOY Campaign’s project. Something interesting too is that I can use the web site on the language I feel more comfortable with, in this case, Portuguese (it also helps me to try to keep a consistence with the way Mozilla translates their web sites).

Now I’m being able to not just translate but also review translations. It is a bit of work because I’m trying to make it looks like if it was written by one person and looks like other Brazilian’s web sites. Things that I see a lot are literal translations or translations that look like Portuguese from Portugal. You can see this on the picture below. Some of the words need to be not just translated, but adjusted to the contest of the Country.

Other examples of this is “First Name” and “Last Name” or verbs conjugations (they can get kinda complex in Portuguese, once there are lots of rules and lots of exceptions of the rules).
On the platform, there is a dashboard, where you can follow up the progress of the projects during a period of time. On the first picture below it shows how much of translation was done on Mozilla-2014-EOY-Campaign’s project for every language. The second picture shows how much of translation I did for the same project.

That was basically it for this release. I also went back into other projects to review what was missing. This is the kind of work that I won’t stop doing just because I got to the due date for the class. I’m still looking every week for changes that were made and I trying to keep up to date with the new projects that are posted (like the EOY Campaign).
