My fourth release was also within translation and localization. Some of the resources that I had translated on Release 0.3 were updated, some were removed and some were added. I’m really enjoying doing this. It is a nice task, that fits with my skills and desires.
One of the web sites that I’m translating is this one. It is the web site for Mozilla’s fundraiser 2014 (Enjoy that you are here and make a donation too!!). Overall, it was a simple project to work with, the only challenges I had this time were the ones I had on Release 0.3, such as literal translations, missing HTML tags and translation’s conflicts. I would like to highlight that I’m learning a lot of English, what is great for me once it is my target number one while being in Canada. I really really really liked the translations from the user “henrique20″ on Webmaker Explore repository. He has a very clean way to write and his translations fit on the Brazilian’s web sites style.
Portuguese-BR is one of the most translated languages on the fundraiser repository. It is one of the only ones that are completely translated and reviewed for the Mozilla-2014-EOY-Campaign archive. On the pictures below light green means translated and dark green means reviewed.
It is a pleasure to work with Mozilla’s translation. I’ll keep my eyes open to the new resources even though the open source classes are done. I’ll also look for more stuff in the area, like the Twitter’s localization web site.
Cheers!
